goCount People ?ounter is a software package designed to count public place visitors (store, shopping center, cafe, etc) with help of video cameras.  The main difference from the other systems of people counting  is a the camera mounting method: in conventional solutions camera looks downward, whereas goCount People ?ounter uses cameras directed at people's faces. Through the use of an anonymous analysis of face images, our software system can count the number of visitors, and also determines their gender and age.   Why do I need people counting?  Savings on the wage fund by using fewer sellers in low attendance hours Save on advertising budgets, by tracking the results of advertising campaigns,  and use of the most effective one Improving the efficiency of sellers, by tracking the conversion (average number of sales per visitor), and implement timely staff motivation depending on this value  Improving the efficiency of retail space and optimization of the merchandise, by tracking the interest of buyers to specific goods   Estimation of gender and age of visitors  Powerful algorithmic core, underlying our system uses the characteristics of individual men and women, to estimate the gender and age of the visitors. The collected information is combined in the report that describes the demographic characteristics of your audience and allows you to make the most accurate assumptions about the needs of your customers. Centralized data storage (cloud)  and online reports goCount People ?ounter uses cloud storage for statistics information, which allows you at any time to view the reports from any Web-enabled device, from anywhere in the world. Each client has their own personal account on our site, secure pair of username/password. In your personal account, you can see the following statistics for current and last month: the total number of visits per day/month the percentage of male and female the percentage of the following age groups: 0-18, 18-55, over 55 (range varies)   Anonymity, privacy and security  goCount People ?ounter software package does not store or transmit images of persons, operating with general purpose descriptions like hair length, face proportions (thin, thick), etc. That descriptors are used to estimate gender and age, right after the estimation this information is cleared. So it is impossible to anyhow recognize the individual. The goCount People ?ounter database contains the anonymous statistical information only.
